I’m associate professor of English at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My research interests include Romantic literature, literature and medicine, poetry and poetics, and speculative fiction. My monograph, The Poetics of Palliation: Romantic Literary Therapy, 1790–1850, appeared from Liverpool University Press in 2019.
